Determined to take control of her health, she became the first patient to follow Dr. Dale Bredesen’s groundbreaking protocol, earning the nickname "Patient Zero." Through dedicated adherence to the Bredesen Protocol, she successfully reversed her cognitive decline and has since devoted her life to helping others do the same.
Judy Benjamin is a medical anthropologist, former college professor, and board-certified health and wellness coach (NBC-HWC). She is also a certified Apollo Health ReCode Coach, specializing in brain health and cognitive optimization.
As a researcher trained in medical anthropology and the healthcare field, Judy applies her expertise to studying neuroscience and brain health across multiple disciplines. She offers personalized coaching sessions via Zoom, telephone, and in person where possible, guiding individuals to optimize both brain and body health. Having witnessed the devastating effects of Alzheimer's within her own family, she is deeply committed to helping others avoid the same fate.
In addition to her work in cognitive health, Judy is a certified yoga instructor (RYT 500) with a focus on using yoga to support memory, improve sleep, and enhance balance to prevent falls. Her coaching philosophy integrates mindfulness, loving-kindness, and evidence-based strategies to support compliance with the Bredesen Protocol.
